These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vunzo app and related services (the "Service"). "Vunzo", "we", "us", or "our" means Maksym Sharov (Empresário em Nome Individual), NIF 310115493. By installing or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. They form a legally binding agreement between you and us. On Apple devices, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) additionally applies.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age of digital consent set by the law of your country). If you are a minor, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you are able to enter into this agreement.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for all activity in your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to meet these requirements.
Vunzo provides tools for learning foreign vocabulary: spaced repetition, flashcards, AI translation and grammar hints, verb conjugation, and cross-device synchronization. A free tier and a paid Vunzo Pro subscription with enhanced features (full cloud sync, AI hints, higher limits, and so on) are available. We may modify, add, or discontinue features of the Service.
AI hints are provided "as is", may contain errors or inaccuracies, and are not professional linguistic or educational advice — verify important results yourself. Daily limits apply to the use of AI features. Do not enter confidential or personal data into AI hints (see the Privacy Policy).
The content you create (words, translations, examples, notes) belongs to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and synchronize this content solely to provide the Service. For AI features, entered terms may be processed and cached in anonymized form, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you add.

The Service, including its software code, design, the "Vunzo" name and logo, and reference content (for example, verb conjugation data), belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use of the Service.
The Service uses third-party services (Apple, Google, AI providers, and others), which have their own terms and policies. The app stores (Apple, Google) may be beneficiaries of the relevant provisions of these Terms. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or policies of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranties — including as to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or the accuracy of learning content or AI results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability (or, if you made no payments, a reasonable minimum amount). Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations — in which case they apply to the extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify us for reasonable losses arising from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law while using the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms, abuse, or legal requirements. After termination, certain provisions (intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability) survive.
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your agreement to them.
These Terms are governed by the law of Portugal. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Portugal (Comarca de Setúbal), unless otherwise required by mandatory rules of the law of your place of residence (for example, consumer-protection provisions in the EU).
